Post Celebration of Mama Mary's Birthday.

Mama Mary's birthday was on Sept. 8.

Actually we had mass on that day, on Acacia St. Because it was also the anniversary of B.E.C, so we had double celebration! ^_^

And because we also wanted to celebrate Mama Mary's birthday on Sunday, we had a program after 6pm mass.

Viva Guadalupe Part I

Kami ang naka-assign na choir para sa pagkanta sa Our Lady of Guadalupe na pinapaikot per Barangay.

Ang saya lang, kasi nung time na yan may banda pa kaming kasama! haha. As in mabuhay na mabuhay talaga ang pagtanggap sa Lady of Guadalupe!

Kuya Orly, our leader and our guitarist was not able to attend the mass today, so meaning we need to do acapela.

Before the mass started, like we always do, we pray. And God answered our prayer immediately. The pianist in the other choir group organization volunteer to accompany us. God is really great. God provides.

And because it's our first time accompanied by piano, ofcourse nangangapa kami and there's some mistakes.

Ang hirap nga pumasok pag start ng kanta eh, iba kasi talaga ang piano at guitar. But in all, I can say it was okay.

Thanks for the help of that guy. :)

Just want to write about this day. Parang ang dami kasing magagandang nangyari. hehe.

Ang saya ng mass kanina.. :D

May Parish priest na  naman na dumayo from Tondo (sa pagkakarinig ko sa kanya kanina ah? hehe).
Ang kwela nya kasi. :D At habang nung nagsesermon sya, lumalapit talaga sya sa mga tao. Parang nakikipagkwentuhan lang. Ta...ma! haha.

The gospel is about the three angels-- Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel, and Saint Raphael. 


The angels are not a girl nor a boy, cause they were the spirit that guarded the people.


The angel guarded you.

Making FIAT SERVIAM CHOIR'S booth! :))

         It should be our practice this evening and it's on our schedule already, but because of the occasion for tomorrow, Parish Day, and for the celebration of Msgr. Severino Anatalio's birthday, practice is cancelled.
         We design and make our booth. There's lot of pictures of us, simple but striking verses from the bible, motto in life of some members, short info's, list of members, recommendations and invitation for our choir.    
         Though it was late, we had enjoy creating our choir's wall. :D
         Kahit maraming mga gagawin, kung nagtutulungan, mapapagaan mga gawain. 
At saka pag marami kayo at ini-enjoy nyo yung ginagawa nyo, di kayo makakaramdam ng pagod bagkus nagdudulot ito ng kaligayahan at tuwa sa puso.

Color of the day - Blue stripes design! haha

We had our practice of course.

Onti lang kaming um'attend, but most who attend wear same color and kind of shirt/blouse, blue w/ stripes design! haha. Jem, Sarah, Johanna, Lester, and Clifford wear the same! hehe!

 La lang, just want to share.

Messiah, ang pinag-aralan naming song na pang komunyon. :)

Happy INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Nagpractice kami for tomorrow’s mass, sabi kasi magsimba raw sa’min si PGMA!

At nagpunta din sa burol ng Lola ni Lester, huling lamay.

Grabe late na kami nakauwi.

Past 11 na ako nakauwi, malamang mga choirmates ko din.

OwEmJi, kinakabahan talaga ako for tomorrow. Bigatin ang magsisimba!?! Haha!

Pero may chance pa rin naman daw na di magsimba, medyo magulo rin kasi utak ni PGMA! Haha! Kidding! (Lagot ako pag may nakabasang iba nito :D) Peace! :D

Well, gotta say good night. Need to rest, so that can prefer for tomorrow’s mass! Haha. So much excited! XD

Mga puna at komplemento..

Had an emergency meeting this day, Friday 8pm (but as expected, we started quarter to 9! Haha!) at social hall.

Though we're not in complete attendance, pinagpatuloy pa rin ang practice. 

But before practice may sinabi muna si Kuya Orly, leader at guitarist namin.

May mga puna sa'ming choir...

~Pag nakanta ng Ama namin, dapat daw di kami tumatalikod sa altar, masama raw yun. Pag kumakanta kasi kami ng Ama Namin naghahawak kamay kaming lahat, nakakabuo ng circle kaya yung iba napapatalikod sa altar. We're sorry. Now we know. Di na kami tatalikod. hehe.

~Pag may mga mali raw sa nota o di alam, dapat daw di kami tatalikod. Magkunwari na lang daw na style namin yun kung nawawala sa nota o kung di alam. haha! Okay po. (Parang ako yung ganun :D --Admin) 

~Wag raw kami magtataas ng nota sa dulo ng Papuri.. Para raw kasi nawawala sa original na nota saka mas maganda raw kung nasa mababa lang para magblend din yung lahat ng voice.

Sinabi raw samin yang mga yan dahil kami ang pumapangalawa sa mga choir dito sa church namin. 

Pumapangalawa lang? Okay na yun para sa'min, di naman kami nakikipagkumpetensya eh, ang gusto lang namin magserve sa church at kay God. Though it's a complement to be the seconds' best, kasi yung nangunguna, mga matatanda na talaga at mga beterano sa pagkanta, kaya pagbigyan, kidding :D. hehehe.
But we do love serving God. :)

Just got home..

So much done for this day..

 We're the group who sung for the 6pm mass for this day, even in the first song, we're just few. Some of us was not there, and there's also some technical problem to the microphone and the chord jack of the guitar. wew. But latter, it becomes okay, and some of our members came.

After that lead the rosary for the Santa Cruzan and sing as well every after mystery.

Then we go to the brgy., to Ate Lheia's father burial, we pray and give our condolences,

and lastly, we go to Johanna's house, it's her 18th birthday.  Ofcourse we eat, and then videoke mode. Johanna's brother voice is A-W-E-S-O-M-E, really. Birit kung birit.. Hawak kamay.. Hawak kamay, sa mundo ng kawalan.. ♫

Iba yung pari kanina, di ko kilala..

Wew..  Ang dami naming kumanta.. Pati yung dati naming choir members nandun.. sila Kim, Cess, Maynard, at Arah!

Wala lang.. Ang saya saya lang.. Hehe.. Kahit most of us, medyo late.. :p

Si Jem nga, sakto lang, pagdating dun pambungad na awit na..

Si Maricar naman, sa bandang papuri dumating..

Si Ate Lheia, medyo after siguro ng papuri..

Pati si Micci late rin, haha, may kasama rin kasing kaklase.

At ang pinaka late si Jen, nagsesermon na si Father.. hehe.. Pero okay lang, sabi nga nila

"it's better late than never"

Sayang wala ulet si Ghie, sya lang ulet kulang, pero nagtext naman sya, late daw kasi kaya di na tumuloy..

Kahit kulang, masaya pa rin.. Wala lang, masaya lang ako dahil marami kami,

at sabi nga nila the more the merrier! Masarap magkaron ng madaming friends! :))

at higit sa lahat, masayang magserve kay GOD.

Practice with Boys choir

Well that's it, we had our practice at the new building on church with boys choir!


Almost perfect attendance but sad to say Bianca and Ghie was not there. Bianca had her outing at Zambales, while Ghie (sigh), we know she had a problem now and we understand that and we're always open for her if she wants to come back and I hope soon she will be.
